You know how this usually goes.
You report something, and then you wait. You follow up. Weeks pass, it's still there, and eventually you stop mentioning it and live around it instead.
Nobody knows your name. Nobody notices when something's off. You are a unit number on a rent roll, and the building runs whether you're happy in it or not.
Here, somebody knows the building and knows you.
Someone asks how it's going before you have to tell them. What you mentioned once doesn't need mentioning again. When something goes wrong, one person owns it until it's finished, and you hear from them without chasing.
It's the small things that change everything about living somewhere
Somewhere along the way, you notice you've stopped worrying about any of it.
You come home, and it's where you live.
